Paul is Senior Consultant Retail at Payments Advisory Group, an international consultancy specialized in the payments domain, working together with all stakeholders, including payment processors, banks, corporates, fintechs, retail, and public sector organizations. Payments Advisory Group provides advisory and implementation services, interim management, training and market research.
Paul uses his knowledge and network to help clients to develop strategies on topics such as PSD2 and RTS, online identification, loyalty, blockchain, omnichannel solutions, and more. Next to that, Paul is frequently invited as speaker or host, covering events from international conferences to in-company workshops.
Previously, Paul worked as Senior Advisor Payments at Thuiswinkel.org, the national association for the B2C e-commerce industry with over 2200 members in The Netherlands and was chairman of the e-Payments committee of Ecommerce Europe, the Brussels' based association representing 75.000+ companies selling products and/or services online to consumers in Europe. Next to that, Paul was for Ecommerce Europe Technical Expert in the Euro Retail Payments Board, chaired by the European Central Bank, and Co-Chair of the ERPB Working Group on Payment Initiation Services.
Paul is still a member of the Digital Transactions and Innovation Taskforce of Ecommerce Europe.
