Selmar Meents holds a position as Associate Professor of E-Commerce at the Amsterdam School of International Business (AMSIB) of the Hogeschool van Amsterdam. He received his Ph.D. in e-commerce from the VU University Amsterdam. Much of his research has focused on marketplaces and especially on the role of trust and risk on these platforms. Selmar’s research findings have been presented at several leading international conferences, and have been published in multiple high-ranking scientific journals.
